If you happened to miss our first event – Blessing Of The Bikes & Ride – check out this short highlight video. It was chilly (in the 40’s) but it was also a lot of fun!
A grey and cloudy morning turned into crystal blue skies and a perfect night for riding! Winterset, St. Charles, St. Mary’s and then on to some BBQ at Big Al’s. Just a perfect night!
You could not have asked for a better night of riding than our June ride. This night took us through, Booneville, Dexter, Stuart, Redfield and then on to our final destination at Brickyard Burgers and Brew in Adel. Overall a great night, if you missed out join us for our next scheduled ride!
July Ride To Indianola Bike Night
The Valley Riders July ride truly turned out to be a HOT time! Even though the temperature at our start time was into the triple digits, it turned out to be our largest ride to date, with over 30 people making the ride to Indinalola for Bike Night! Thank you to all who made it out to ride!
August “All-Day” Ride To Anamosa and The National Motorcycle Museum
The August ride to Anamosa was a perfect ride. It was kickstand up at 8AM and we returned about 6:30PM that evening after riding through Red Rock Lake, Pella, Grinnell and the turned NE towards Anamosa. The museum was awesome and then we rode up to the J&P Cycles showroom before we started back to Des Moines. Overall a great ride!
Hello I’m Tim Yates. I have enjoyed riding motorcycles for years now, and can tell you the most fun, is when you are out on a ride with great friends. It’s with this goal that we have created the Valley Riders. We hope that you will consider to join us on our next ride! All makes and models are welcome, both bikes and riders. We’d love to have you!

Really like riding with this group! Tim does a great job coming up with interesting routes, and the riders are fun and nice to speak with. Great to see all the different cycles as well. If you’re looking for a nice group of riders, this would be a great group for you.
I enjoyed riding with this group! Everyone was friendly, great group and a nice ride. Thanks, Tim! I’m looking forward to the next one!
Fun group and it was great to meet some new people that share the same passion and to see the different bikes. Hope to see you at the next ride!
